Our Council Consent requires all functions that breach noise limits to comply with the following conditions: 1. No more than 10 events per yr shall breach the noise limits of the residential zone. 2. All events that breach noise level limits shall cease no later than 10pm. 3. All guests shall have left the property no later than 11pm in conjunction with 2 above. 4. Maximum duration for any band/amplified music shall be a 2-hour period. 5. All events that breach noise limits shall only be undertaken on either a Thursday, Friday or Saturday but not consecutively. 6. Access to the lake area and boardwalk around it will only be permitted up to 8pm on any occasions when an event occurs that breaches the noise limit levels of the Residential zone. 7. The applicant (Lakeside), shall ensure that only 1 event that breaches noise limits shall be held per week and a maximum of 2 events per calendar month. NOTE: These weekly and monthly limits do not mean an increase in the maximum number of events per year permitted to breach the noise limits of the Residential zone. That number remains at 10. 8. The maximum number of persons on the site attending the function shall be 100. 9. No events that breach noise and hours of operation limits shall be held on a Sunday or public holiday. 10. Events occurring on Saturdays during the official NZ summer period that DO NOT breach noise limits and meet all other conditions imposed shall be permitted to run until 8pm. 11. On any occasion where alcohol is provided as an element of the event, there must be at least 1 person holding a manager’s certificate or other approved qualification as prescribed in the Sale and Supply of Alcohol Act 2012 present on site to responsibly oversee the supply of alcohol at all times it is provided (Lakeside takes responsibility to provide this person)
Our accommodation can also play a part, being an ideal option for the bride and her bridesmaids to get ready in after a tranquil night and a few wines down by the lake, or as a perfect escape for the bride and groom at the end of their special day.
